eu.bac visits the Spanish authorities
Last week, our Deputy Managing Director Simone Alessandri visited Spain for key meetings with policymakers and stakeholders on the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD) implementation.
Together with Bruno Pedrotti (Danfoss), Juan Antonio Bandera Cantalejo (Airzone España), Pablo De Caria (Siemens) and Juan Alberto Pizarro Ruiz, PhD (Schneider Electric), Mr Alessandri visited Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico and AFEC. eu.bac once again highlighted the importance of having the EPBD Building Automation and Control System (BACS) measures properly implemented at the national level.
Without:
- clearly identified, framed and justified parameters for economic feasibility and
- clear mechanism and tools to check EPBD compliance of BACS
EU will lose the potential to achieve 14% primary energy savings! We provided our input on how to fill potential loopholes and shared the tools we have developed:
We look forward to working together with Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico and all the other Spanish stakeholders to further improve the National legislation and maximize the savings!
