Andrei Litiu –
New Face of eu.bac in Brussels
Since January 15, 2015 Andrei Litiu MSc Eng is representing the interests of eu.bac members in Brussels. After graduating in HVAC engineering and accumulating practical experience in the design of technical building services and building operation in his homeland Romania, Andrei Litiu relocated to Brussels. Here, he gained experience in association work, initially for the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Associations (REHVA).
He intends to build on this foundation and use the positive practical experience gathered from working with technical building facilities and in particular with automation and control products and systems, to open politician’s eyes and ears for this key industry. In addition to running the secretariat for eu.ESCO and eu.bac’s representation for Energy Performance Contracting, he will also focus on work relating to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, the Ecodesign Directive as well as the Energy Efficiency Directive. In addition, he will also intensify the partnership with initiatives of the European Commission – such as BuildUp, for example – for the benefit of the industries represented by eu.bac.
Andrei Litiu succeeds Frédéric Melchior, who over the past four years built up eu.bac’s representation in Brussels
