EPBD Implementation Days: “Supporting EPBD implementation – Practical solutions developed by EU-funded initiatives”
On Wednesday 13 May 2026, EU-funded initiatives held together with DG ENER a hybrid event from Brussels entitled “Supporting EPBD implementation – practical solutions developed by EU-funded initiatives”. Conceived as the second day of a wider EPBD implementation days event, this day built on the momentum of the previous day by focusing on the practical instruments, project results and collaborative frameworks that can support implementation across Member States. Its timing was particularly relevant, taking place in the same month as the deadline for transposition of the EPBD on 29 May 2026, and therefore at a moment when attention was moving decisively from legislative transposition to operational delivery.
eu.bac participated in this event’s first session, with a speech by Chloe Walsh (Project Manager), who brought the perspective of the Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS) industry, as well as insights from the OpenBEP4EU project.
